Teeball in Little League is a modified version of traditional baseball designed for younger players who are still developing their skills. It is typically played by children ranging from 4 to 6 years old. At this level of play, the focus is exclusively on learning the very basic fundamentals of the game and having tons of fun, so the kids will come back next year.
- Coaches place balls on the tee for hitting. They will hit a soft baseball.
- Emphasis is on basic skills, teamwork, and fun.
- Each player will play multiple positions in the game to keep them involved and allow them to learn the different aspects of each position.
- No scorekeeping will take place and each team bats through their batting order each inning, players move 1 base at a time.
- Players will have 1-2 practices early in the season until games start, then 1-2 games per week.
